    Health Coach Client, Now Certified

    in General, Health Coaching

How a Health Coach Client Became a Certified Health Coach

Ten years ago, I had never heard of health coaching. It took being a health coach client myself before I realized the positive impact Certified Health Coaches can make in someone’s wellness journey. After years of suffering with digestive issues, skin inflammation and hormonal imbalances, I found myself getting discouraged. I sought the advice of western doctors, eastern doctors and various forms of therapists, sadly finding myself back at square one over-and-over again. Finally, I chatted with a Health Coach who helped me look at the many factors contributing to some of my health concerns such as job-stress, energy level, and nutrition, encouraging me to eat more superfoods throughout the day.

Why should you see a Certified Health Coach?

A Certified Health Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute helps others achieve their health and wellness goals by providing science-based and trusted information, positive encouragement, and continued motivation. Health Coaches cultivate meaningful relationships with clients, meeting them where they are in their individual wellness journey. Although my wellness journey was unique to me, there are many common reasons you may seek the guidance of a Certified Health Coach during your own journey, including:

    • An individualized approach
    • Setting attainable and achievable goals
    • Accountability, inspiration and motivation
    • Education and knowledge to make healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices

Due to my positive experience as a health coach client, I knew I wanted to inspire others by becoming a Certified Health Coach as well! After doing my research, I found the health coach training and certification through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute and appreciated the balanced approach taken, which is based on Dr. Sears’ four pillars of health: lifestyle, exercise, attitude, and nutrition. I became a Certified Health Coach because I wanted the tools and education to help me empower other to make a healthy lifestyle and behavior choices in their lives.

Working as a Certified Health Coach has really helped me achieve my own wellness goals and it’s helped me pursue and passion of mine – it could do the same for you!
