Spear about four pieces of fruit onto each pretzel and leave a little room at the end of the pretzel. Join two worms with a piece of fruit to make a longer worm!
Cut the sandwich into a number of shapes and mix up the shapes on the plate. Have your child reconstruct the puzzle back into a sandwich before they eat it.
Peel the bananas and cut in half width-wise. Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze them until firm. Place bananas into a blender, add milk, and puree until creamy. Put the smoothie into a fun mug or cup and add a crazy straw. [/print_this]
Wash and dry your fruit. All of the bunny’s features are attached to the fruit with toothpicks. It is easiest to insert the toothpick into the dried fruit first then into the fresh fruit. If your fruit is very hard it may help to make a hole in the fruit first with the toothpick before you attaching the decorations.
Use the raisins or craisins to create eyes on your fruit bunnies.
To make the whiskers you will need to cut a small, long rectangle from your string cheese (make it about as wide as your fruit). Then cut 3 ‘whisker’ strips on each end of the rectangle, being careful not to cut all the way through.
Push a raisin on the end of a toothpick. Slide the string cheese whiskers onto the toothpick, pushing them up to the raisin nose. Push the toothpick into the fruit, underneath the eyes.
