Different Options for Different Needs
Allowing you to offer a variety of programs for optimal health and wellness
The Dr. Sears Wellness Institute offers Health Coach Certification courses that provide age specific programs, advanced training, resources, and tools.
Whether you choose to become a Certified Health Coach (CHC) with our life-stage specialty courses, or take your coaching to the next level by becoming a Master Certified Health Coach (MCHC), you can pick the path to certification that best fits your needs.
A Certified Health Coach needs the knowledge, tools and resources designed to support clients at their specific life-stage. We help you achieve this by giving you the option to choose one (1), two (2), or all three (3) life-stage specialty courses (Families, Adults & Seniors, and/or Pregnancy). Your first course is six (6) weeks and includes your core health coach training, plus the content and curriculum for that life-stage. Each additional life-stage specialty is three (3) weeks, building upon the core foundational knowledge acquired in your first course.
For those desiring to become a Master Certified Health Coach, once you have completed your initial course, you will begin your 24-week Master Course.
Help parents and/or children learn simple healthy habits that prevent nutrition related diseases, enhance overall health, and improve children’s learning and behavior with the L.E.A.N. Start program curriculum.
Empower adults to add life to their years and years to their life by sharing skills and information to sharpen thinking, boost energy, prevent age-related diseases, and take charge of their health with the Prime-Time Health program curriculum.
Equip pregnant and new moms to have a healthier pregnancy and baby, a smoother delivery and recovery, and to implement optimal pre- and post-natal nutrition practices with the Healthy Expectations program curriculum.
The Master Course is a masters-level training designed for those looking to take their coaching to the next level, become a Master Certified Health Coach (MCHC), and qualify to sit for the NBHWC National Board Exam.
